Soon be Christmas!

Hello to you all!

I can't believe it is over one month since I last "blogged" - how time flies! And now, here we are, almost at Christmas - just two more weeks of school, then Joanna and Paul will arrive and we shall have arrived at Christmas. Wow!

Life is still hectic - is it a sign of increasing years or is it the same for everyone? Speaking of age, I have today visited Mrs Major South on her 106th birthday. She was in cracking good form. She came (in uniform) to the morning meeting yesterday and was having a great day when I called on my way home from school today. She had had her hair done at 7.45am this morning - had a roomful of flowers, the press had visited as had lots of family and friends from the Corps - she was great. It seems as if she will go on for ever although she is becoming ever more frail and can't see or hear too well these days. Mind you at 106 what do you expect!! Will try and include a couple of photos if I can.

We are just gearing up for "silly season" at school - all reports have been completed and now we launch into "mock" GCSE exams and all the Christmas activities. Add to that all the Army acitivities and you can see there will not be many more spare moments before Christmas finally gets here.

All for now. Bye!
