Can you believe it is almost June and nearly six months since my last blog? How terrible! it just goes to prove how very, very busy this year has been so far.
We shared a lovely Christmas time with Joanna and Paul, home for a flying visit tho' it is all so long ago it is hard to remember all the details! They returned to Perth just after New Year and life resumed it's humdrum, day to day routine. John and I are now looking forward to another visit to Perth in August - complete with knock-out tablets for me!
Joanathan and Jen became an established item just before Christmas - we'll keep you posted as to if the bells start to ring!! No news yet!
John has continued in his temporary employment - it should come to an end very soon, but as the goal posts keep moving, we'll keep watching this space.
Life at school is ever more frantic. The pressure and pace are unbelievable - there is never any spare time and always more and more admin being piled on to us. How the students cope I don't know - it's almost as bad for them as it is for staff. Everything is target driven - what a sad world it is, to be sure.
So now it's half term again - this time there are just all the reports to be completed. Who said teachers get long holidays? Tell them from me they are wrong - all we get is time away from the kids!
So there we are - not much to report really after 6 months - but I guess that's life.
I promise to try and blog again before another 6 months pass.
Bye for now - and Bless you all.
