G'Day! How is it going?
You will realise that we are back home from our visit to Perth where we once again spent quality time with the family.
This began with a little boy wearing a bright red t shirt stating " I love my grandma" toddling towards us as we walked into Perth Airport. Welcomes don't get much better!
It was good to stat in Jonathan and Jen's first home and they looked after us very well indeed. They are both settled into their jobs and their first term ended during our first week there and they are now enjoying a two week holiday before the new term begins.
The weather was just great - temperatures between 24 and 36 degrees every day - and that as autumn is underway.Can't be bad - we didn't even need a cardigan or jacket - even on the boat cruising the river!
Joanna celebrated her quarter-century birthday and fifth wedding anniversary during our stay - and we all had a wonderful birthday lunch at the top hotel in Perth. it was a buffet where you could return to the table as many times as you wished, so as you can imagine John had a great time!
And so the 2 weks passed by all too quickly and now we are getting ready to go back to work! I'll try to put in some pictures now so you can hopefully get a flavour of our trip.
