Here we are in the middle of September - summer holidays are a distant memory and school is once again demanding so much of our time. It was good to visit Joanna and Paul in Perth during the summer - to share in something of their new life and to meet some of their friends. Now we look forward to them returning for Christmas which I guess isn't too far away altho' I don't know how many shopping days there are left! In the meantime i have planned a trip to Estonia during half-term and I am looking forward to spending time with the Tyrrells in what I understand is a beautiful country. This has been a week of mixed emotions - I have been presented with a second "god grandson" - Noah Marc arriving safely on Tuesday morning, weighing in at 7lb 3oz to proud parents Kate and Marc, not forgetting big brother Lloyd. It has also been the week in which two special people have moved on to Heaven - Uncle Reg Hatton and Mrs Colonel Sylvester. Both were 90 years of age - both had a special place in my life and I shall miss them both. This weekend we look forward to welcoming major David Botting into our home. we haven't seen him since he conducted Joanna and Paul's wedding so we are looking forward to spending some time with him. All for now. Please let us know what you think of this site - will it be a means of keeping in touch? Tricia
